The Sweet Pea Barn Animals

Sweet Pea the Donkey

Sweet Pea the donkey is considered the ranch’s mascot. She is so welcoming and will greet you when you go over to her pin. She loves butt scratches and just attention in general. Although she is sweet, she does have her sassy said which, in my opinion, is the best side of her. For example, when people go over to see the baby goats, Sweet Pea will throw a little tantrum stomping around and making all sorts of noise.

Chaps and Heirloom

Chaps (the golden horse) and Heirloom (the black horse) are the only two horses at the ranch. Chaps is very welcoming and will usually come over and say hi unless he is eating. Food always comes first. He is a big ole goof and will lip at any loose hanging clothes or floral bouquets you bring over to him. Heirloom is the old lady horse and her attitude shows it. She won’t typically come over to say hello so patience is key with her. When she eventually decides (on her own time) that she wants to say hello, she is such a gentle giant.

The Baby Goats (Wyatt, Annie & Ollie)

The baby goats are the newest addition to Sweet Pea critter family. These babies are so noisy and it’s so cute to hear them yelling as you approach their pin. You can even hear them from the ceremony site which always makes me giggle. They are the sweetest little babies and they LOVE attention. Wyatt (the brown one) is usually the first to come say hello when you come to see them. He is also a total attention hog and when you pet any of the other babies, he will start to bite at your clothes or shoelaces. Annie (the half black/half white one) is a sweet little lady who loves head scratches. She also knows how to put Wyatt in his place by head butting him when he’s hogging all of the lovies. Oliver aka. Ollie (black with a white belt like an oreo) likes to nibble on fingers and he loves getting his chin and butt scratched. He is also an attention hog but is a lot more patient about it than Wyatt is. He will either jump up on you or paw at your feet. He also sometimes will scratch his own head on your leg which absolutely melts my heart.
